CHAPTER 3: In my skin, You Are the Universe

Updated: Sep 11, 2022

As I watch the snowflakes fall from my window it reminds me of how strong the universe is. Seasons change to supply the gift of balance to everything that lives on the earth. Yes, I do believe that humans can upset our climate. That is until Mother Earth said enough is enough. If you listen quietly to the universe, you can hear a gentle whisper in your ear every day. No matter what culture or religion.

Manipulating the universe and the climate will only lead to deterioration of the body and in most cases death. Animals are the true educators and if your spirit and conscious mind cannot understand what they are saying, things can get worse. Unbelievably, animals and insects are the true cultivators of the Earth. Humankind has been given the job of caregiver to all that live on the Earth. But as for the birds that roam the sky and the ocean dwellers, they take care of a few things.

Choosing to be ignorant does not change the chaos, it makes it easier for more chaos to evolve around us. As a little girl being put into foster care, I had to find a way to survive mentally. I became my family’s guide. My mother was diagnosed with schizophrenia and did not receive the support, she truly needed in the seventies. At 4 years old I understood that my mother needed help. Her atmosphere and her sensitivity to what was happening around her had an emotional effect on her belief of what the universe offered her in return. At least that is what it looked like from the outside looking in. Animals became my advocate and support. It was a unique form of unconditional love for me to go on. I recognized that everything that lives inside of the universe is affected by human alternatives and how we treated the gift of life on the planet. I learned that human beings were flawed with a warped understanding of why they were here. Only a small percentage of people had a clear understanding that there are rules that need to be followed to support a healthy life. I had this overwhelming understanding that I could trust the universe and became inquisitive about how animals and trees were born. As our authentic selves, we should not fight against their intentions. It can very well help you help others. At a noticeably early age before understanding the meaning of my name Ebony which means the tree of life, I decided to BECOME a tree, the strongest tree with roots deep into the middle of the earth. Even when the seasons changed, I will be rooting as the protector and voice of balance between the universe and humanity. After being on America's Next Top Model I was blessed. I was recognized everywhere and stopped by beautiful people everywhere I went. Each time they stop me people remind me of what they saw in me and why I was there. I am constantly asked what my secret was.

My prayer is that the world will be ready to hear the truth. We all have the power to be the best of ourselves but only through our choices.

You are what you eat, think, and believe. As a young girl helping to raise three brothers it was challenging. With two brothers diagnosed with bipolar, I recognized how food affected their emotional stability also. I was surrounded by challenges and had to find ways to feed my loved ones with brain food. It had to be filled with vivid hues and passion for them to stay alive.

To sum things up mental disability develops from an unhealthy diet. This is not just about the perfection of the body but the food you choose can affect your body, the way you think, and your decisions every day are a constant reminder of your mental health. But to be able to read your body and connect to the universe you can flourish. Your best self-peeks out when things get tough and are taught at an early age. Pretending what you eat does not affect the way your body works is dangerous. As you grow or how your mind and soul feel can be effective or non-effective through education or ignorance, it is your choice. I knew I would grow up to be incredibly beautiful while aging because of the food that I chose and my intent to respect the universe. Nothing is free in life so you must do the work to become your best self. Learning and practicing self-control assist the mind so the heart is not familiar with being used. I do not believe anything is wrong with mankind. Science creates false ways to survive through technology. Everything cannot be blocked. Genetically cloned food will destroy the beauty of Humans, but you must recognize that it exists. Even though most humans are different that is the only thing that makes us alike, because our souls and spirits are quite different. Sometimes due to life circumstances, cultural differences, or even the fact that you can live in the same Community, attend the same school, and have similar backgrounds you can still receive information differently because we are all uniquely different.

We are all originals in our purpose at birth. To give the body something that is not authentic in its source is to dilute our intelligence and ability to connect with the universe and all that is. But as history has shown repeatedly an amazing ability to destroy ourselves like the Phoenix to rise again and learn the true importance of the universe and the responsibilities and gift, what we have been given is persistent. To run to another planet if we do not take care of what we have will only cause chaos. We must deal with issues face to face.

I do believe it is important to fix and find balance through our mistakes as humans. When we do travel and visit other planets let us do it by choice of where we want to be not because we have destroyed what we have been given. To truly embrace your authentic self it is important to help preserve this world in its pure state. Accepting our truth in how we treat ourselves, in our temple Is the answer. Today as a health counselor and life coach. I encourage people to start living as themselves, to accept the truth in every corner of their souls, body, and mind. If the Earth’s soil becomes poisoned, then you too can be poisoned by non-truth. Everything in life is temporary and like our bodies, anything can reroute itself back into the soil. We are a part of the universe, so all contributions are relevant.

Well, I am on my way to teaching a class for two young girls between the ages of 18 and 25. Yesterday one of my new students did not know I was her teacher and started to talk to me about getting an operation on her face. When I asked her how old she was she said I will be twenty-six. Fast food and genetically modified food have affected our children’s vision and mental health.

I told her I was 44 years old her mouth dropped, and I reminded her she has the freedom of choice, but her beauty is in her hands. and if she did not choose to take her power as a young woman back, she could be in for a rude awakening in the years to come. How you age is a choice through your actions.

Blinded without education on how to preserve beauty in this universe is greater than you think. You have one body. I am here to save young women like her. My hopes are if she chooses to listen it can change her life.

I have work to do, and so do you!

Until the next article.
