New York City: Start Spreading the News, I'm Leaving Today.

Updated: Mar 28

Start spreading the news, I'm leaving today. I'm really leaving because New York is certainly not a place I want to be a part of. These trying times have made it clear that the Big Apple is no longer the bustling metropolis it once was. The streets are no longer filled with the sounds of laughter and music, but rather with the echoes of gunshots and sirens. The people of New York are trading in their apples for other fruit, fruit that may be easier to digest and sweeter to the taste.

The recent shootouts on the trains have left many New Yorkers feeling unsafe and on edge. It seems like every time you turn on the news, there is another report of violence on the subway. It's no wonder that people are looking for a way out. Who wants to live in a city where you can't even ride the train without fearing for your life? I fought long and hard with writing this article because I was born and raised here. I love it here but the time has come.

And let's not forget about the migration issues that have been plaguing the city. The influx of people from all over the world has put a strain on resources and infrastructure. It's becoming harder and harder to find affordable housing and good-paying jobs. The once diverse and vibrant neighborhoods are now struggling to keep up with the demands of a growing population.

But perhaps the biggest threat to New York is the fear that looms over its hard-working citizens. The constant worry of another terrorist attack or natural disaster is enough to make anyone want to pack up and leave. Who wants to live in a city where you have to constantly look over your shoulder and wonder if today will be the day that everything changes?

So, what are we going to do? Where can we go for peace and security? It seems like the answer may lie in leaving New York behind and starting fresh in a new state. But which states are the best options for those looking to escape the chaos of the city?

Perhaps a move to Vermont or Maine would be a good choice. These states are known for their peaceful and serene landscapes, far removed from the hustle and bustle of city life. Or maybe a move to Montana or Wyoming, where the wide-open spaces and friendly communities offer a sense of safety and security that is hard to find in a place like New York.

Whatever the choice may be, one thing is clear: New York is no longer the city it once was. It's time to spread the news and leave today, in search of a better and brighter future elsewhere. Goodbye, Big Apple, it's been real. But it's time to move on to greener pastures.
